Become an ABC Craft Instructor!
Use your skills and knowledge to train tomorrow’s workforce

ABC Southeast Texas Chapter is currently offering the following craft classes

  • Boilermaker
  • Electrical
  • Industrial Insulation
  • Instrumentation
  • Civil Carpentry
  • Millwright
  • Pipefitting
  • Industrial Painting
  • Welding
  • Equipment Operator
  • Construction Site Safety Technician



Classes are taught Monday through Thursday (Two nights a week) from 6:00 pm to 9:00pm

ABC-Southeast Texas Chapter currently offers training at its Training Center located at
2700 N. Twin City Hwy.
Nederland, Texas 77627

All Craft Instructors are part-time employees of ABC and are paid $20-$25 per hour. Salaries and increases are based on the following criteria:

>High School or General Equivalency Diploma
>Minimum 3 years work experience as a journeyman or in construction/maintenance training
>Staff/Lead Instructor Interview
>Completion of the Instructor Certification Training Program
>Yearly class evaluations by staff and students
